Oil & Acrylic Realism for Your Home

A custom painting is a collaborative process between artist and collector. Whether you are looking for a detailed botanical study, a classic still life, or a meaningful portrait of a person or pet, I bring sixteen years of technical discipline to every piece. My goal is to create a painting that captures the fine details and character of your subject.

Why Commission My Art?

When you commission a piece of art, it’s more than just a painting; it’s a personal expression, a reflection of your soul, your story. Whether it’s a portrait, a landscape, or something abstract, I work with you every step of the way to bring your vision to life. I’ll listen to your ideas, your inspirations, and turn them into something uniquely yours.

Personalized Process: Tailored to your unique vision and preferences.

  1. Handcrafted: Each piece is created by hand with passion, care, and attention to detail.

  2. High-Quality Materials: I use only the best art supplies to ensure lasting quality.

  3. Collaborative Approach: Regular check-ins to ensure you’re involved in the creation process.

How It Works

1. Your Vision To start, please fill out the inquiry form below. Let me know the subject matter you’re interested in, your preferred medium (Oil or Acrylic), and the size you’re thinking of. For portraits and pet commissions, clear, high-resolution photos are essential for me to capture the true likeness of the subject.

2. Consultation & Quote Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll reach out to discuss the details, your timeline, and any framing needs. Based on the complexity and scale of your project, I will provide a custom quote for your review.

3. Securing Your Date To officially book your painting and secure a spot on my studio calendar, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. This covers the initial composition and the professional-grade materials needed to start your piece.

4. The Creative Process I believe in a transparent process. We will align on the initial layout and composition first. Once the final painting begins in my studio, I focus on the high-detail work and technical excellence that defines my style.

5. Final Delivery Upon completion, the remaining 50% balance is due. I accept payments via Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp. Once the balance is settled, your artwork will be carefully packaged, insured, and shipped. Local pickup in Grand Forks is also available.

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable as they secure your studio time and materials.

  • Timeline: Please note that oil paintings require extra time for proper drying and curing before they can be safely shipped.

  • Rights: I retain the rights to the digital image of the artwork for portfolio and promotional use unless otherwise discussed.
